Pascal Ansaldo, born in 1959 in Switzerland
After my elementary school, I started to learn my job as technical designer in mechanic. It was my work for a long time in my country.
Having many interest, I had other occupations like traveling for a long time, different part time jobs, beekeeping and sports. For 15 years, I practiced karate and taught people for a long time.
When I was fourteen, I started to have interest in photography and bought my first reflex camera. Since then, I always enjoyed taking photos.
For seven years, I lived in Nepal. It was a great change in my life. I could learn yoga, meditation, healing and other spiritual activities. Beside, I have much opportunity to take photos in this colorful country.
Nowadays, I leave in Switzerland with my wife Alice.
Alice (Jung JinSook) is born in Seoul, April 20th 1972.
Alice is an autodidact korean painter. Since 2007, she manages an open painting studio in Heyri Art Valley, North of Seoul.
Besides her permanent exhibition in her studio, Alice holds solo exhibitions in Korea as well as in different countries.
Some years ago, she decided to quit her job and totally involve herself in painting.
Mostly Alice enjoy painting on wood but uses also different supports as paper or canvas and sometime stones. Alice uses water colors, but frequently paints with acrylic colors, pencils or pastel crayon.
For Alice, painting is a tool to communicate with people, nature and universe. It is also a blessing that makes her realize that all beings are light and love.

Near Seoul, at Heyri Art Village, in The Step Artist 111, is located Alice’s studio.
